Sorey es un humano que siempre ha vivido con serafines, una de las razas del vasto continente de Glenwood, que se divide en dos poderosos dominios: el Reino de Hyland y el Imperio de Rolance, enfrentados en una cruel guerra.[BR]Nuestro protagonista es un estudioso de la Crónica Celestial, un libro que recopila las mayores leyendas del pasado. Con su mejor amigo, Mikleo, un serafín de agua, exploran las ruinas cercanas a su hogar, Elysia. El objetivo de estas expediciones es conocer más aspectos acerca de los Pastores, unos personajes de leyenda que aparecen en la Crónica Celestial y que salvaban al mundo de la malicia (impureza nacida de las emociones negativas de la humanidad), restaurando la paz. En su última expedición, ambos encuentran a una misteriosa joven, que no suelta prenda sobre su origen.
